Jane Eyre é a autobiografia ficcional da personagem principal. Conta como Jane, órfã de pai e mãe, vive infeliz na casa da tia que a detesta. Após um confronto com esta, Jane é enviada para uma escola, onde conhece os primeiros momentos de felicidade. Após seis anos como aluno e mais dois como professora decide procurar uma nova posição. Encontra-a em Thornfield Hall, como preceptora da jovem Adèle, a pupila de Edward Rochester.

This is one of my favorite books. I was interested the first to the last page of the book. I recommend this book to everyone, because it shows how life was for woman of the nineteenth century and the story of Jane Eyre, a young orphan girl, who suffered much in life, but that overcomes all difficults by a large love. The story is full of romance and suspense. It is worth reading this book.
